Beretta came to us on February 14, 2009 the day of love!

We had been looking to rescue a Bullmastiff for some time and wanted to support local Bullmastiffs in need and local rescues. After months of searching online, mostly petfinder.com, we came across the sweetest bully face ever! She was 5 months old, 55lbs (tall and lanky!)and all love. Beretta was surrender by her breeder after having a hernia. East bay Animal Rescue and Refuge, located in Concord, CA fixed her hernia, and cared for her until she found us.

Beretta now has a brother and a sister, although they are small (a combined weight of 25lbs) they absolutely adore her.

Beretta's favorite activities include the dog park, splashing in the river, long walks, and most of all rolling around with her favorite Chihuahua AKA little BIG brother Magnum.

Beretta's hernia has healed completely, she is now a little over 7 months old and 70 pounds.....healthy and happy!

It's easy and it's fun to be able to share your love of your pet with others.  And, sharing a pet story brings us closer to our pets, and can even help make someone else's day a little better!
