Just like in the wild, where animals groom each other, grooming your dog regularly is an important part of his or her basic need.

Regular brushing or combing at home between groomer visits helps keep your dog clean while also helping to improve health of the skin and coat.

Grooming can enhance your dog's appearance!

Some dogs need to be groomed more than others, depending on such variables as the dog's breed, age and health.  Along with being healthy, regular grooming also enhances a dog's appearance - whether for preference reasons of the dog owner, or in preparation for an upcoming dog show or competition, in which breed "standards" are observed.  Dog show or not, some owners simply have certain appearances and feels that they like better than others.
