We work on a "team" basis rather than as individuals and Pet Extreme provides employment for a wide range of people. Over the years many of our associates have chosen to remain with us and build their careers within Pet Extreme - some have been with us for more than fifteen years.

Others have chosen to remain for stable employment while working toward their goals of higher education, but in the end - we have a very low turnover rate. We are proud that every one of our store managers has worked into his or her position. We employ both full and part time associates, so whatever your situation is - you may be just right for the Pet Extreme Team!

Pet Extreme's locations number 8 at present, with an 9th to open soon. If you are a college student, being centrally located is important to you. All of our locations are within easy driving, biking or walking distance of a junior or community college and/or a technical or trade school. Five of our locations are within easy driving or biking (some within walking) range of California State Universities. Three of our locations are within easy driving range of University of California schools, and four are within easy range of private universities.

We maintain a dress and appearance code at all of our stores, and toward our goal of providing our associates with a safe and drug-free working environment, we provide pre-employment drug screening for associate candidates.
